You are a criminal whose deeds have warranted the outcast sentence. You have wandered the wastes and bounded the trackless beyond, and, eventually, realized that you must find some way to atone for your crimes. But, of course, such a task is easier said than done.

A Pocket RPG

Earth-Stepper is an RPG that fits entirely on an index card. Furthermore, it fits on only one side of an index card! Character creation can take only a few seconds, allowing new and old players alike to hop into the game with less than no difficulty. Combat is quick and deadly, allowing players to carve through fights in no time at all, allowing for plenty of action to be packed into sessions. Equipment is also wonderfully simple in order to reduce rule and inventory clutter. Magic can appear at the GM's discretion, but does not have to.

Influenced by the Best

Like just about any other RPG out there, Earth-Stepper claims inspiration from Yochai Gal's Cairn, using a variant of that really cool "3 Stat" system. However, this RPG takes further inspiration from Jason Tocci's Exhumed, an excellent Souls-like RPG that brought a great stamina system to the indie RPG scene. Nevertheless, Earth-Stepper delivers a great way to tell the story of desperate wanderers in search of redemption in its own unique way.
